General Definitions
- Account: The account where a member's points are earned and redeemed, accessible through the microsite Account.
- Earn or Earning: The process of receiving Points for completing a qualifying transaction at a participating store.
- Enrolment Date: The date when a customer subscribes to the program.
- Member or You: An individual holding an AlOthman rewards account.
- Participating store: Any AlOthman store where the program is active.
- Points: The loyalty currency earned by Members through qualifying transactions.
- Privacy Policy: The terms outlining how AlOthman collects, uses, and manages customer data, available on the website.
- Qualifying Transaction: A fully paid transaction using accepted payment methods at a participating branch, following the start date.
- Redeem or Redeeming: The process of using points to partially or fully pay for goods at a participating branch.
- Start Date: The Program’s launch date or another date specified by AlOthman.
Membership and Enrolment
- Becoming a Member: To become a member, complete your first qualifying transaction at any participating store after the start date. This marks your enrolment date..
- Membership Communication: After each qualifying transaction or at the end of each month, you will receive an SMS and/or email with your points statement, including details about points, tiers, and other relevant information.
- Tier Progression: All Members start at the base loyalty tier and can advance to higher tiers based on accumulated Points, as detailed in the program structure.
- Account Activation: Points are earned with each qualifying transaction and posted to your account after 14 days, provided all required membership information is completed. Points can be redeemed in store, subject to identity verification.
Membership and Enrolment
- Members are assigned a membership tier based on their total spend level during each calendar year (from January 1 st to December 31 st ) (“Membership Tier”).
- Tier Levels:
Base: Entry-level tier, spend up to KD4,999.
1 reward point for every 1KD spent.
Silver: Spend KD5,000 – KD9,999.1.5 reward points for every 1KD spent.
Gold:Spend KD10,000 – KD14,999.2 reward points for every 1KD spent.
Platinum:Spend KD15,000 and above.3 rewards points for every 1KD spent.
- Members can progress to a higher Membership Tier within a calendar year and will retain that tier for the remainder of the year.
- To maintain a higher Membership Tier for the following calendar year, members must meet the required spend threshold within 12 months. Otherwise, they will be downgraded by one Membership Tier level.
- AlOthman reserves the right to adjust or change these spend levels at its sole discretion.
Earning and Redeeming Points
- Qualifying Transactions: Points are earned through qualifying transactions, which may be subject to changes by AlOthman at any time.
- Point Redemption: Points cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Point States: Points can be Current points which are redeemable or Tier points which are not redeemable and show which Tier you belong. Redeemable points can be converted to cash rewards.
- Point Accumulation: Points can become redeemable 14 days after the transaction date, provided no returns are made.
- Exclusions to Point Accumulation: Credit points are not earned on the following:
- Purchases from selected concessions.
- Purchases made with AlOthman vouchers or gift cards.
- Purchases paid with Tabby.
- Purchases where points have been redeemed.
- Payments made on account.
- Duties, taxes, or other charges.
- Partial Payments: If a purchase is partially paid using vouchers, gift cards, or Points, you will earn Points only on the cash portion of the payment.
- Online Orders: Points for online orders are awarded on the date of delivery.
- Refunds: If a transaction is refunded, any Points earned will be deducted from your pending points balance.
Account Management
- Point Balance Check: You can check your Points balance online through the provided microsite. Please allow up to 24 hours for Points to reflect after a transaction.
- Missing Points: Members may request retroactive Point claims within 30 days of a transaction by providing a copy of the purchase invoice. Contact [email protected] for assistance.
- Discrepancies: For any discrepancies in your Account statement or Points balance, contact the support team at [email protected]
- Account Cancellation: You may cancel your account at any time by contacting Customer Services. Upon cancellation, all Points and benefits are forfeited and cannot be reinstated.
Program Modifications
- Program Changes: AlOthman reserves the right to modify, cancel, or withdraw the Program or its terms at any time without prior notice. AlOthman shall not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.
- Changes to Terms: AlOthman Fashion may update these Terms and Conditions at any time and notify Members when possible. Continuing to earn or redeem Points implies acceptance of the updated terms.
Liability and Disclaimers
- Program Revocation: AlOthman reserves the right to revoke or refuse a member’s participation in the Program. In such cases, all accrued Points will be forfeited, and the Member's Account balance may be cancelled.
- Program Cancellation: AlOthman shall not be held liable for any loss arising from the termination, modification, or cancellation of the Program.
- Data Usage: AlOthman, as the data controller, may disclose personal information to governmental authorities if required by law or to third-party partners assisting in the Program’s operation. This data will be used per the AlOthman Privacy Policy.
Additional Information
- Program Availability: The Program is available to customers shopping at AlOthman stores in Kuwait. It is not yet available online at www.alothmanfashion.com, Bahrain, Qatar, or London stores.
- Member ID: Each Member is limited to one ID, intended for personal use only. Member IDs cannot be shared, transferred, or used for commercial purposes.
- Point Expiration: Points expire 12 months after they are earned if not redeemed.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kuwait and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
