HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE?

Our shopping process is designed to be as seamless as possible. However, we are aware that the precious nature of our product means that this is no ordinary shopping experience. Personal service is key to our values. So, our customer care team is on hand to help every step of the way. If you have any queries about the shopping process or have questions not covered anywhere on the site, our customer care team will be pleased to help.

CAN I MAKE A PURCHASE DIRECTLY THROUGH A CUSTOMER CARE AGENT?

HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept KNET in Kuwait.

Every purchase is secure thanks to certified secure servers and advanced encryption services. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser, and you can click on it to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

To safeguard your credit card purchases, you will always be asked to enter your CVV code for every order. To protect you as the cardholder and payments made on our site, we may contact you by e-mail to verify your details.

WHAT CURRENCIES CAN I PAY IN?

All payments will be charged in Kuwaiti Dinar. You are however able to view prices in US Dollars, British Pound, Euro, Saudi Riyal, Qatari Riyal, UAE Dirham, Omani Riyal, and Bahraini Dinar.

CAN I AMEND MY ORDER DETAILS?

Should you wish to amend any order details; we will need to cancel the order and you will need to replace this. For security reasons we are unable to amend any shipping or billing details or arrange any re-directions.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

We are happy to arrange a shipment globally. Our international logistics partner is DHL International. Please contact your customer care with your specific requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your request, local customs and importation regulations withstanding. Please note, we may need to contact you for additional information in order to clear your parcel via your local customs office. Customer care will be in touch should anything be required.

HOW LONG WILL MY DELIVERY TAKE?

Depending on your destination and due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, DHL takes up to 2 weeks to deliver internationally, excluding any customs clearance, outside of our control.

Orders placed in Kuwait might take up to 10 business days to be delivered due to high demand and enhanced health and safety measures to protect clients and staff. Thank you for bearing with us.

AM I ABLE TO RETURN MY ORDER?

If your purchase is not quite what you are looking for you have 14 days from when you received your order to have your item(s) sent back to us for a refund. The pieces must have all the original tags and labels attached and be shipped and received in the condition delivered. We refund the cost of the goods only, any taxes, duties or shipping will not be refunded. Please contact customercare@AlOthmanFashion.com for assistance in the return of your item.

HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?

The process is quite simple and must be done on the website from your account. Below are the steps necessary to take:

1. Log into your account on AlOthmanFashion.com

2. Where it says, "HELLO CLIENT’S NAME”, click on the bottom facing arrow and a drop-down menu will appear, please then click on MY ACCOUNT.

3. Once you scroll down, you will see a list of options on the left, please click on MY ORDERS, this is when the list of your entire orders with us will appear.

4. Find the item that you want to refund and click on “VIEW ORDER “, this is when an image of the item will show up.

5. Click on the link RETURNS, and a drop-down menu of reasons for refund will appear.

6. Please choose the reason for refund from the list, and this will enable the system to process the return request.

Once the above process is completed, we will e-mail you the invoice and the return airway bill documents. Kindly print them and contact DHL and quote your airway bill number to arrange for the pickup at your convenient time. If you are unable to print the airway bill document, kindly ask DHL to pre-print the document when calling for pick up.

Please note that we need to inspect the returned item upon receipt, and once that is completed, we will then process your refund through the same original payment method you have used. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

You have 14 days from when you received your order to have your item(s) sent back to us for a refund.

• All Products will have a ‘Returns Tag’, a designer swing ticket and AlOthmanFashion.com swing ticket attached to them and some may have ‘Garment Protection Items’.

• Please ensure that when trying on the products or when the products are a gift for someone else that you or that person does not remove the Garment Protection Items.

• Product returned will not be accepted for a refund if any of the Garment Protection Items are removed or have been tampered with.

• Product must be returned in perfect condition, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused (except for trying on) and with all the original packaging. The original packaging will include a hanger and garment cover.

• All of the protective material that was included with the garment will have to be re-applied; any embellishments will be covered in a soft material to prevent any damage from being made during the shipping process – any embellishment will have to be similarly protected if the garment is being returned to us.

• It is your responsibility to check that the product is as described prior to removing the Garment Protection Items.

• We cannot accept product returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. We will determine in our sole judgment whether the damage is as a result of normal wear and tear or some other reason.

• We have the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the products are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

• Please note that we can only collect returns from the same country to which you order was delivered.

• Within 14 days of our receipt of the returned product, if the product complies with our returns policy then you will receive a refund for the price of the product when purchased by your original payment method.

AM I ABLE TO EXCHANGE MY ORDER?

For the time being, you are only able to return your order and once approved, receive your refund. If you wish to exchange, you will have to place a new order on the item you wish to purchase. This means, each transaction will be treated as a different order.

WILL I BE REFUNDED THE FULL VALUE OF MY ORDER?

If the product complies with our returns policy then you will receive a refund for the price of the product minus the return shipping costs and duties. Please note that it can take up to 12 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Shipping costs are not refunded for items returned. Customs duties and sales taxes, if charged, are also non-refundable.

IS ALL YOUR STOCK SHOWING ONLINE?

We showcase a curated selection of luxury gowns and daywear online. If an item is available to purchase, you will be able to select your size and add it to your shopping bag. Products on AlOthmanFashion.com are in high demand and can be selected by another customer if left in your shopping bag, so we recommend you place your order promptly.

HOW MUCH DOES THE DELIVERY COST?

Delivery and shipping charges depend on your destination. Please contact customercare@AlOthmanFashion.com for cost estimates. Deliveries to Kuwait are free of charge.

DO I NEED TO PAY TAXES AND DUTIES?

If you live within the GCC region: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Oman, then you will be charged for taxes and duties upfront as you check out and submit your online order. If you live outside the GCC region: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Oman, then we do not collect any taxes and duties on your online orders.

However, we will ship your order on a DDU basis, this means that the product prices displayed on our website are exclusive of all taxes and duties. So, once your order arrives at your destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes imposed by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs office. Should you not pay these fees (during the period the shipment is held at customs at the receiving location), the parcel may be returned to us, however you will still be liable to pay these fees, they will be deducted from your refund.

Kindly note that we are unable to advise the amount you will need to pay for customs and taxes, or any other additional fees required by your local customs.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your air waybill number to track your package.

AlOthmanFashion.com offers you the possibility to update and modify all the information of your account by simply entering your AlOthmanFashion.com. account and directly modifying your details. HOW LONG CAN I KEEP SELECTED ITEMS IN MY SHOPPING BAG?

If you are signed into your personal AlOthmanFashion.com account, the items placed in your shopping bag are automatically shown, however please kindly note that these items will not be reserved. Additionally, AlOthmanFashion.com cannot guarantee the future availability of the items placed in your Wishlist.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH REPEATED RETURNS?

We offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience seamless. We do monitor the number of returns made by clients and continued returns in breach of our terms and conditions will be flagged and may, at our discretion, lead to future orders being refused. If this applies to your account, we will contact you.

HOW SECURE IS YOUR SITE?

All transactions are secured. AlOthmanFashion.com website is provided with an SSL encryption system to protect personal and payment data. AlOthmanFashion.com does not keep any credit card information. All payments are processed via our payment provider, KNPay.

You will instantly earn online store credits for each and every amount spent online, no matter how small. The next time you place an order online, you will be eligible to redeem your Online Gift Voucher. And then the fun truly begins!

HOW MUCH DO I EARN WHEN I SPEND?

For every amount you spend you will earn 5% of your total spend. For example, if you spend KWD 1,000, you will earn KWD 50 as an online store credit, which you can redeem for your future online purchases. Below is the breakdown of spending and how much you will earn.

Spend KWD 0 - KWD 1,499 and get 5% of your total bill.

Spend KWD 1,500 - KWD 2,499 and get 10% of your total bill.

No. The online voucher can only be used on products listed on our website. It cannot be redeemed at our physical stores. However, the same reward system does apply in our physical stores. 

HOW CAN I VIEW THE BALANCE OF MY ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS?

You can view your Online Gift Voucher credit balance via your account online on Alothmanfashion.com. 

CAN I USE ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHER ON THE SAME ONLINE ORDER WHERE I EARNED THEM FROM??

No. Issued online vouchers can be used for redemption on your future online orders only.

CAN I USE ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHER TO PAY OFF SHIPPING FEE, TAXES, OR DUTIES?

No. For international orders, any shipping fees, taxes, and duties will be excluded from the Online Gift Vouchers’ redemption process.

WHEN WILL MY ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHER EXPIRE?

AlOthman Online Gift Vouchers are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of issue and automatically expire at the end of the period. Upon expiry, the Online Gift Vouchers cannot be reissued or accepted. The Voucher amounts will also not be refunded when expired.

CAN I EXCHANGE ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS WITH CASH?

No. AlOthman Online Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable.

CAN I REDEEM A PARTIAL AMOUNT OF MY ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes. AlOthman Online Gift Vouchers can be redeemed partially for any purchase made online. Any unused portion of the credit will be saved from future online purchases. 

WHAT IF MY PURCHASE EXCEEDS THE AMOUNT OF MY ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS?

If purchase exceeds the Online Gift Voucher amount, the balance must be paid in full.  

CAN I GET ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS IF I PURCHASE ITEMS FROM THE SALE?

AlOthman Online Gift Vouchers can only be issued against full priced items (that is, items that are not on discount). However, you can redeem the voucher on both full priced items as well as discounted items. 

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ALOTHMAN ONLINE GIFT VOUCHERS IF I RETURN MY PURCHASE?  

Should you return a purchased item, the full amount of the item will be refunded if the Gift Voucher has not been redeemed. In case the Gift Voucher has already been redeemed, we will refund the cash value of the returned piece(s), as well as refund you the value of the Online Gift Voucher redeemed. As you are viewing Products on a website, we cannot guarantee that the images will match the Products and there may be a variation in colour and texture of the Products ordered. Any drawings, descriptions or advertising we issue, and any illustrations in our catalogues, brochures, digital artwork, or on our website are issued to provide you with an approximate idea of the Product. We will not accept any liability for any allergic reaction to fiber content of our Products. You are responsible for checking the Product care requirements on Product labelling. Details of Product fiber content and care requirements are available on request prior to purchase. As our Products are selected to order from limited stock, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements may vary. Please review the size guide conversion chart on the relevant Product page or ask us for sizing details accordingly. Due to the high value of our Products, they are all hand checked, steamed and packed to our specific requirements prior to dispatch.

 

HOW TO ORDER

 

Our online shopping process is designed to be as simple as possible. To place an order for one or more products on alothmanfashion.com, you must register for an account, add items to your shopping bag, enter your billing/shipping address, select your delivery option and choose your payment method to complete your order. Should you have any questions at all or wish to make a Product enquiry please use the enquiry form on our website, located on the footer and titled “STYLE ADVICE”. As all enquiries are dealt with personally, you will be allocated one of our personal shoppers to guide you through your order journey by email, WhatsApp or phone. Any information you give us will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in placing an order you consent to the use of your data in accordance with such policy. Our customer care service team can guide you with regards to account opening and management, assist you with product returns, assist with delivery status and offer additional item sizes and details that are not listed on the product pages.

 

PRICE

 

All prices are invoiced in Kuwaiti Dinar. The price of the Product and Services is exclusive of delivery charges, shipping charges, and any taxes and international duties that may be due in accordance with our terms of Delivery. The total invoice includes the price of the Product and shipping and handling charges, taxes, and duties, if you live within the GCC region: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Oman. If we discover an error in the price of Products you have ordered, we will contact you and you will have the option to purchase the Product at the correct price or cancel the order.

 

PAYMENT

 

Terms of payment are within our sole discretion and, unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, shall be as follows: Payment for Products and all applicable delivery and shipping charges (see Delivery) to your chosen delivery location is in advance. Payment is to be made in Kuwaiti Dinar. We only accept payment by credit/debit card, the payment will be processed by KNPay Payment Middleware located at Dar Al-Awadhi Tower, Ahmad Al-Jaber St, Sharq, Kuwait, Tel: +9651807060. All credit cards details (for example, card number or expiration date) will be sent via an encrypted protocol to the banks which provide remote electronic payment services, without third parties having any access whatsoever thereto. These details will not be used by Alothmanfashion.com, except for carrying out procedures relevant to your purchase, or issuing refunds in the case of returns, subsequent to the exercise of your right to return, or for reporting cases of fraud on Alothmanfashion.com to the police. The price for the purchase of products and the costs for their shipping and delivery as indicated on the order summary page will be charged to your account at the moment in you place your order.

 

DELIVERY

 

The method of delivery of the Products will be at our discretion, either delivered by courier or hand delivered if orders are within Kuwait to a pre-arranged delivery location. Delivery will vary according to your location, delivery address, and/or the Product location. Due to the logistics of delivering a Product, it may not always be possible to deliver the Product or provide the Services you require in the timescale you require it. We will agree on a delivery date with you after placing your order. We will not accept any liability if the order is not delivered on the delivery date due to events outside our control. If you order Products for delivery outside of Kuwait, you are liable to pay for shipping charges which will be calculated and charged at the time of placing your order. If you are shipping your order outside Kuwait, it may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches your destination if you live outside of the GCC region and your order shall be placed on a DDU basis (Delivered Duty Unpaid). So, once your order arrives at your destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes imposed by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs office. Should you not pay these fees, the parcel may be returned to us, however you will still be liable to pay these fees, they will be deducted from your refund.

If you live within the GCC region, any shipping & handling fees, taxes or duties will be applied during online checkout.

We will not be liable for any delay in delivery caused by Events Outside Our Control. Delivery of your order shall be completed when the Products are received at the selected location address and the Products will be your responsibility from that time. We shall insure every Product until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any Product delivered, at which point responsibility for your Product passes to you. You own the Products from the later of payment in full or delivery of the Products to you. You are required to provide us with accurate delivery details and notify us in writing in advance of those persons who you may designate as responsible for taking delivery of the Product. In some destinations, our courier service (DHL) will require a copy of your ID for delivery purposes, a Customer Care representative will contact you to request for the same, if necessary. We shall not be liable if you have provided us with an incorrect delivery address or if you are not available to take delivery of the Product. We shall not be obliged to take any action other than to return the Product and you shall be liable for the costs of such return. You must comply with all the applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Product is destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such laws.

 

CANCELLATION

 

If you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want the Product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract and receive a refund, by following the returns process. Your right to cancel a contract starts from the date of payment to Alothmanfashion.com (when you will be notified by email) which is when the contract is formed. Your deadline for cancelling to cancel an order is 14 days after the day on which the Product is delivered to you. To cancel a Contract, you just need to let us know by initiating the returns process in your account on the website. Once you use this method, we will e-mail you to confirm we have received your cancellation. On receipt of your cancellation notice, you will need to arrange for your order to be returned to us, if in Kuwait, a customer care representative will be in touch to arrange pick up, if abroad, you will need to arrange for pick up by contacting DHL. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the Product (using the same method as delivery and nominated couriers or suppliers of Alothmanfashion.com) which shall be calculated and charged in the same way as the delivery cost and up to the same value. If you cancel your contract, we will refund you the price you paid for the Products. However, please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the Products, if this has been caused by your mishandling, as well as any delivery charge, if based outside Kuwait. If you remove any of the Garment Protection Items that are attached to the Product then no refund will be made or, if products are not prepared for return in the original packaging then a deduction will be made up to the value of the price you paid. See our Returns Policy for full details of what is acceptable. We will not make any refund (if applicable) before we are able to inspect the Product. If a refund is payable, we will refund you via your original payment method.

LIABILITY

 

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, for any incidental or special or consequential loss, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breaches of any applicable sale of goods consumer protection laws which cannot be limited or excluded. Our total liability to you in respect of all and any losses arising in connection with these terms and conditions whether in contract or tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise shall be limited to the actual amount paid by you for the Product or Services which is the subject of the claim to which alleged liability relates.

 

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

 

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by an any act or event beyond our reasonable control ‘Event Outside Our Control’. This includes, without limitation; strikes, industrial action, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of a terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not), threat of preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood or other natural disaster, any international shipping delays caused by the customs clearance process or the failure of private or public telecommunications networks or delays in or cancellations to the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other forms of public or private transport. If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a contract we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you and our obligations under a contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control. Where the Event Outside Our Control affects our delivery of Products to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the Event Outside Our Control is over.

• AlOthman online gift vouchers can only be used on products listed on our website. It cannot be redeemed at our physical stores. You can view your online gift voucher credit balance via your account online.

• Issued online vouchers will be used for redemption on your future online orders.

• For international orders, any shipping fees, taxes, and duties will be excluded from the online gift vouchers’ discount calculation.

• The gift vouchers are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of issue and automatically expire at the end of the period. Upon expiry, the gift vouchers cannot be reissued or accepted. The voucher amounts will also not be refunded when expired

• AlOthman gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable.

• AlOthman online gift vouchers can be redeemed partially for any purchase made online. Any unused portion of the credit will be saved from future online purchases.

• If purchase exceeds the gift voucher amount, the balance must be paid in full.

• AlOthman Gift Vouchers can only be issued against full priced items (that is, items that are not on discount). However, some selected full-priced items are excluded from the AlOthman Rewards program. 

• You can redeem the voucher on both full priced items as well as discounted items, and items displayed on our outlet section online.

• Should you return a purchased item, the full amount of the item will be refunded if the Gift Voucher has not been redeemed. In case the Gift Voucher has already been redeemed, we will refund the cash value of the returned piece(s), as well as refund you the value of the Online Gift Voucher redeemed. The Online Gift Voucher will re-set to its original expiry date.

 

OTHER TERMS

 

Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. These terms are governed by Kuwait law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Products in the courts. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court.

We reserve the right to add to, or amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it considers it reasonable and necessary to do so without notifying you.
